It all started with a Pablo Farras Faus S.A.'s diversification idea.
With a single call to a former customer and friend, the company sets out to develop a new decorative sheep's wool material for wall and ceiling coatings.
That was the beginning of a renewed relationship that lasts to this day, where for two years Pablo Farras Faus S.A. is aiming to design an innovative textile material, along with the University of Salamanca and with the help of the ICE of CyL.
As the result of a market study on existing products, research and development and above all a lot of work, WoolWalls® is born, a sophisticated and high-quality product.
That meant starting almost from scratch; new marketing network, social media, new customers, exhibitions, etc.
Thus, Farrás Home was created. This company is responsible for the new product's marketing and merchandizing.
What defines WoolWalls®?
WoolWalls® is a wall and ceiling coating, developed as from woven Merino sheep's wool and transformed into a three fabrics' multilayer material. It is manufactured in rolls 120cms wide and can be supplied as is or 60cm wide for easier handling. It is mainly used for decoration, thermal and acoustic insulation and it is as easy to install as wallpaper. It is adhered with the recommended glue and of course, without any construction work.
Acoustic properties
Additionally, its acoustic properties help eliminate annoying reverberations at restaurants, hotels and offices meetings.
Excellency
These panels have excellent properties that make them stand out compared to wallpaper or the typical acoustic canopies.
CO2 and NOx captors
Furthermore, we wanted to add a more sophisticated touch with CO2 and NOx captors.
Cleaning
Cleaning this material is easy, as it has an anti-stain product incorporated into the surface. Simply wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt.
Anti-moth treatment
It includes an anti-moth treatment for areas where this insect can be harmful.
Suitable for areas with humidity
Wool is capable of absorbing up to 50% of its weight without feeling damp to the touch, making it an ideal product even for humid areas.
